Constant last minute changes are a primary reason to reconsider working with the client in the future. On a case x case, a designer really has to evaluate the service to payment ratio with a chronic last minute change client. all depends on your level of professionalism and pain threshold.

The process you described so well is something we all deal with and as our careers develop and we get a better grade of client, those smaller, more troublesome ones usually fade away.

Great job on your insightful post!
