    Thanks for putting this list together. I love the new Pillsbury website. It would be so easy for them to go over the top but the the site relies on great photography.

    I completely agree. That is precisely the reason that I have featured it in this roundup. While I would not consider it the strongest design in the group, its art direction is what really makes it stand out.

    The Pillsbury site gets my appetite rolling! And that’s precisely what you want for the homepage image – something that gets people’s appetites going, either literally or figuratively! The Web Designer Depot stands out as well b/c of the lovely brownish-maroon color. That’s a color that you don’t see much on Web sites, but doesn’t compromise readability with the white text boxes.
