OK not really, but they are they very solid and full of inspiring work (Note: The title is meant to be sarcastic, some readers did not get this so I just wanted to clarify). I guess I have just been seeing way too many ridiculous list titles floating around twitter lately, but have no fear Positive Space is not turning into a list blog. Speaking of the future of positive space, a new design is currently in the works so check it out.
***end rant*** So without further introduction, here are 25 great graphic design portfolios that have caught my attention over the past 6 weeks.

Great Article!
You could even make it better by makeing the images clickabel.
Links between images are always confusing: is the link corresponding to the upper or lower image?
Maybe a horizontal line would help separating them.

Does any designer NOT use that MacBookPro template for displaying portfolio pieces these days? A number of the listed portfolios above are using it. I’m so tired of seeing that everywhere — well, for that matter I get tired of seeing any usage of a laptop or computer template to show a portfolio piece. Despite that, these portfolios do contain a number of creative works.

Holy smokes. Thanks for the inclusion, quite the honor. Definitely a lot of inspirational/talented designers on this list!

@Mig
No problem, it is always good to help out another Chicago designer. Plus you do some kick ass work.
@Paul
I think it is because it is a much more dynamic way to present web comps. The flat screen grab just isn’t too interesting, but then again once it gets too over used it becomes uninteresting as well.

And the winner of the “Most idiotic blog post title EVER” goes to… yep, this post.
June 5th, 2009 at 7:17 am
This is the most stupid blog post title I think I have ever seen.
Congratulations.
Ah - caleb - just noticed I’m not the only one who thinks that…

Thanks for including my work! Very nice list, all wonderful designers.

@Caleb & Daniel — the post title was supposed to be sarcastic, but my sarcasm often fails in blog article form. I have yet to figure that one out…

Dude, if your face has been melted by these, then you need to get off teh internets and see what professional graphic designers do all day long. I think you’ve been looking at too many CSS “design” or photoshop galleries that you’ve forgotten (or never knew) that good design has existed for quite a while now. And well, SOME of these could be classified as that. The rest are just passable.

@goobernutz: Zinni’s title was sarcastic/exaggerated, and he specified that the post contained portfolio websites - not other forms of graphics media - that caught his attention in the last 6 weeks. It’s not a “best in the whole freaking world omfg!!1!” post.

Oh wow! These are very impressive! I am going to bookmark this page to inspire me for future projects!

This is a great list… it did not melt my face off, but it was pretty inspirational. Someone said something about a Mac book template.
I am really encouraging people not to use templates from other designers. Be yourself first especially with portfolios. I am finding that employers are getting bored with cookie cutter and going with those who make a unique statement.
A lot of these people come from the NOW kind of designers, rather than those who were designing for fun before 2000 who learned all the different tricks that are no longer valid coding today.

Site suggestion for your site logo design: Is the logo done like that on purpose? I like the colors used, but the typography could be done different, or perhaps something more legible.
